Want to help local families?

Volunteers from St. Pete First partner with Family Promise of Pinellas County to help local families who are experiencing homelessness by providing secure, safe, temporary housing.  During this time, the parents work with case managers, counselors, and service agencies to return the family to a stable home and healthy, sustainable lifestyle.

Around once a quarter we will partner with another congregation to provide much-needed support to host Family Promise guests in their facility.  We have worked with Family Promise for years and we are currently rebuilding our volunteer base.  WE NEED YOU!  There are many ways you can help serve... providing meals, being dinner hosts or overnight hosts, serving a couple of hours at the Day Center, and more.

To serve in direct contact with Family Promise guests, volunteers must complete the two online training sessions and complete a free background check.
