Entry Challenge Categories:
CHILI • CORN BREAD • GUACAMOLE • QUESO • SALSA• DECOR
Cost to enter contest— $5
Cost to eat— $Donation!
Contest Rules:
ENTRY FEE — $5.00
Everything must he homemade/semi-homemade; you must make it the day of the event & bring it in hot.
You may enter as many categories as you like; multiple chilis are allowed.
Booth & chili must be ready for the "taking of the temperature" by 5:30 pm.
Always wear apron, disposable gloves, hair restraint (hat, ponytail, or hairnet).
You are responsible for all of your toppings.
The Youth Ministry will provide 2-3 oz. plastic containers, napkins, spoons, larger bowls, gloves, and hairnets.
Teams are responsible for cooking utensils, serving, ingredients, and table decor that describes your chili.
Each team will have 1/3 of a table.
Rules & prayer will start promptly at 6 pm. Tasting will begin soon after.
Please name your chili!
People's Choice is based on number of spectator's votes for all categories. You can campaign for your team's chili.
Chili judging is based on smell, thickness, color, flavor, and aftertaste.
REGISTRATION ENDS FEBRUARY 26 @ NOON
ALL PROCEEDS GO TO THE YOUTH MINISTRY of ST. PETE FIRST for UPCOMING ACTIVITIES in 2023.
