Christian author Nancy Gainor is leading a women’s Bible study group entitled Ladies of Light (LOL). We meet every Tuesday from 9-10:30 in room Admin-105.

Women of all ages are encouraged to attend. Whether you are a beginner who has never read scripture or a seasoned believer with a frayed Bible, you are welcome in this class.  You do not have to be a member of St. Pete First to attend so feel free to invite friends. Participants do not have to commit to attending for the year. Join us when you are able and experience Christian fellowship while immersing yourself in God’s Word. 

Biblical topics will rotate to add variety and interest. This study will feature various subjects that delve into God’s truth thus enhancing spiritual maturity. Join us as we build a circle of women who share, care, pray and learn together. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we will forge friendships and develop a sisterhood of believers shining the light of Christ in our world.

Our first study is the book of Luke: Luke in the Land - Bible Study Book with Video Access by Kristi McLelland. This series includes seven video sessions shot in Israel and brings the movement of Jesus to life as the lessons are taught on location. Lifeway and Amazon sell the study guide/video for $24.99. What a great way to experience Israel without leaving the comfort of your home. The cost of this first book is higher due to the personalized videos included but be reassured that future materials will be more reasonable or free. Scholarship money is available for book purchase if needed.
