Pastor's Note

A NOTE FROM PASTOR CAREY

Hello, Church Family!

Prayer is one of the simplest and most profound ways we open ourselves to God's presence. Yet many of us know that finding meaningful ways to pray throughout the week can sometimes be a challenge! I'm excited to share a new resource that we hope will help deepen your prayer life and draw you closer to God!

Each week, the Nurture Pillar will be providing a short prayer, designed to give you something to meditate on and pray with throughout the week. Whether you spend a few quiet moments with it each morning, return to it during a lunch break, or reflect on it before bed, our hope is that it will become a companion on your spiritual journey.

This week, you'll find the printed prayer guide in your bulletin. Beginning next week, copies will be available alongside the bulletins each Sunday for anyone who would like to take one home. We will also send it out by email during the week! For the first few weeks, everyone will receive it automatically, but if you'd like to continue receiving it regularly you will need to sign up for it.

My prayer is that this weekly resource will help us cultivate a deeper awareness of God's presence in our daily lives. May it encourage us to slow down, listen for God's voice, and grow in faith as we seek to follow Christ together.

With peace,

— Pastor Carey
