Are you passionate about using technology to help people encounter God? Do you love crafting meaningful worship experiences that reach both in-person and online communities? St. Pete First UMC is looking for a creative, collaborative, and mission-driven Director of Worship Technology to join our team! As our DWT, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of worship at St. Pete First—helping us minister to a vibrant congregation, including the 35% who worship with us remotely each week. You’ll lead all aspects of worship production, from audio, video, and lighting to live-streaming and digital worship media.
✨ What You’ll Do
Bring worship to life through excellent audio, video, and live-stream production
Lead and develop a talented tech team
Keep our worship technology systems running smoothly and creatively
Collaborate with ministry, communications, and worship leaders
Support special events, concerts, services, and more
✨ What You Bring
3+ years of church production experience
Strong skills in sound engineering, ProPresenter, Planning Center, camera systems, and lighting
A heart for ministry and a commitment to the church’s mission
Reliability, creativity, and a positive, team-oriented spirit
