SHAPE is back this spring for a new semester, beginning February 21st! Whether you are a long-time member, a new member, or a church visitor, you are invited to join SHAPE. Over 8 weeks you will be led through spiritual assessments and discernment, helping you find your best ministry, small group, or class fit at St. Pete First UMC!
After Spring SHAPE wraps up, we are planning on doing a Wednesday night class on the Enneagram.
Pastor Bob's Bible Study
Pastor Bob is leading a Bible study on the Beatitudes.
Instead of making New Year’s resolutions, why not step into living life the way Jesus described? Some would say it is controversial or doesn’t make any sense. Others will see the value of these life-changing lessons that were crafted to let the believer live into a fuller life than can be expected. So, the question becomes, “Do I set my own agenda for 2024 or do I live like no other as Jesus defines?”
No study guide for this class - you only need your Bible!
Pastor Bob Martin
Pastor Marge's Bible Study
Pastor Marge's Lenten study, The Third Day: Living the Resurrection, is written by our bishop, Bishop Tom Berlin. Join Peter, Mary Magdalene, and Thomas as they feel the despair of losing Jesus and the surprise and joy that awaits them in the resurrection. This six-week study traces events around these characters, along with Paul and the disciples at Emmaus, and how the resurrection transforms their lives.
Pastor Marge will have study guides available.

Band of Brothers
Our focus — get to know Jesus better and grow closer to each other as we grow close to Christ. To do this, we are currently journeying through the Gospels. The journey starts with John, then Luke…Mark…and Matthew.
