Pastor's Note
A NOTE FROM PASTOR BOB
He is Risen! He is Risen, indeed! These first words spoken after the empty tomb was found have penetrated history in a powerful way. All is no longer lost, and life in Jesus the Christ has been found! Knowing Jesus conquered the grave gives you the ability to lift your head high, knowing that no matter what may be dogging you in life, Jesus has the power to make all things new again. Think about it... just a few days before those famous words were proclaimed, all saw Jesus die on a cross... hope was lost. A lot can happen in three days and trust me, the world has been changed for the greater good. Don't let this truth be pushed into the background of your life. Share the good news. Death and sin have been defeated. Jesus is alive!
— Pastor Bob

WELCOME Rev. Bob Martin
*HYMN OF PRAISE
“Up From the Grave He Arose” Hymn # 322
1. Low in the grave He lay, Jesus my Savior,
Waiting the coming day, Jesus my Lord!
[Chorus] Up from the grave He arose,
With a mighty triumph o’er his foes;
He arose a victor from the dark domain,
And He lives forever, with His saints to reign.
He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!
2. Vainly they watch His bed, Jesus my Savior;
Vainly they seal the dead, Jesus my Lord! [Chorus]
3. Death cannot keep its prey, Jesus my Savior;
He tore the bars away, Jesus my Lord! [Chorus]
*AFFIRMATION OF FAITH
“Apostles’ Creed” # 881
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

*HYMN OF DEDICATION
“He Lives!” Hymn # 310
1. I serve a risen Saviour, He’s in the world today;
I know that He is living, whatever foes may say.
I see His hand of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer,
And just the time I need Him, He’s always near.
[Chorus] He lives! He lives! Christ Jesus lives today!
He walks with me and talks with me along life’s narrow way.
He lives! He lives! Salvation to impart!
You ask me how I know He lives? He lives within my heart.
2. In all the world around me I see His loving care,
And though my heart grows weary, I never will despair.
I know that He is leading through all the stormy blast;
The day of His appearing will come at last. [Chorus]
3. Rejoice, rejoice, O Christian, lift up your voice and sing
Eternal hallelujahs to Jesus Christ the King!
The hope of all who seek Him, the help of all who find;
None other is so loving, so good and kind. [Chorus]

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Amen.
