Pastor's Note

A NOTE FROM PASTOR BOB

Hey Friends!

Our vision says we are to meet the unmet needs in our community, and one of those needs is feeding hungry kids. We just successfully completed a pilot program with Melrose Elementary school where we provided a food pantry which successfully helped us deliver 3340 pounds of food to 75 families, which translates to serving 395 individuals! Folks this is amazing.

WE NEED YOU NOW MORE THAN EVER... If you want to see kids and their families being fed you are needed to be part of a rotational team for this ministry. It doesn't require much time at all, but the dividends are life-changing. We will be working to add four more schools this coming school year, so don't wait to help. Contact Kendra Aumack at kaumack@stpetefirst.org or 727-894-4661 x2122. Let's meet this unmet need in our community for Jesus!

See you Sunday,

— Pastor Bob

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

PASTORAL PRAYER / LORD'S PRAYER

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
