A NOTE FROM PASTOR BOB    

What do you do when the clouds look over you and the outlook doesn’t seem so good? It’s in those moments we all can take stock in knowing regardless of the size of the storm, God is near. Psalm 46 is a great reminder that our loving God is our refuge and strength; our ever present help in time of need.  No matter how rough the storms may feel, God will get you through!

Volunteer Help Needed

A little time out of your week can make such a difference! Join us as we strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus as we serve and Love. St. Pete. Our School Partnership Ministry needs volunteers! This ministry supports Melrose Elementary and Fairmount Park Elementary with mentorships, tutoring, fundraisers, teacher support, prayer, food, and acts of loving kindness. Right now the schools particularly need mentors, Lunch Pals, and people to read to classes. Trunk or Treat & Fall Festival (Friday, October 18; 6-8 pm):

The St. Pete First Trunk or Treat & Fall Festival is a fun and family-friendly event open to the community. Children can go from trunk to trunk to collect candy and treats from decorated vehicles. There will also be bounce houses (including separate bounce houses for the little ones on the playground), face painting, a balloon artist, a petting zoo, pony rides, an outdoor movie, and preschool-age activities inside the preschool. Family-friendly costumes are encouraged! This event is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome! We hope to see you there. Click here for more information.
