*AFFIRMATION OF FAITH

“Apostles’ Creed” Number 881

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

PASTORAL PRAYER / LORD'S PRAYER

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Pastor's Note

A NOTE FROM PASTOR BOB

Have you ever begun the day with a plan? Perhaps it included going to the coffee shop for a quick fix or hitting the grocery store before the crowds assemble… my guess is you begin each day with something to do or have a thought in mind.

However our day shapes up, it most likely includes choices. Did you know God created you and me to do the right thing? It brings a huge smile on the Lord’s face when we become His arms and legs each day. The Scriptures tell us God created us to do good, and that’s the big choice or plan we should aspire to each day. Just think about that… doing good everyday will bring a smile, warm a heart, make someone’s day. I think no matter what, it’s worth it!

— Pastor Bob
