PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Pastor: Christ the Lord invites all to His table who love Him, who earnestly repent of their sin and seek to live in peace with one another. Therefore, let us confess our sin before God and one another.
People: God of all, you love us beyond compare and are faithful to us even when we turn away. You are patient and wise, caring and just. We admit that we are not worthy of your love for us or deserving of your good favor. We have ignored your will, treated others of your children with disdain, and failed to be grateful for your mercy and blessings. Forgive us once again. Restore us to right relationship with you and with one another, for we ask it in Christ’s name. Amen.
WORDS OF ASSURANCE
God did not send Jesus into the world to condemn it, but that the world might be saved through Him. Through the saving love of Jesus Christ, we are forgiven and blessed! Amen.

Pastor's Note
A NOTE FROM PASTOR BOB Our decisions drive our actions. The hope is we are making healthy decisions so that the outcomes are favorable and non-threatening. The truth is, however, that’s not always the case. Judas was one of the closest disciples to Jesus. In fact, we know when the meal was prepared in the Upper Room, Jesus had hand-selected the seat of honor for Judas. Ironic, isn’t it? The One who was to be betrayed gave the seat of honor to his betrayer? God’s ways are not our ways and God’s plans not our plans. In fact, God’s actions oftentimes are totally opposite to ours. The truth is, Jesus knew of Judas’ betrayal and what lay next; despite that, Jesus never wavered on his journey to the cross, which would offer forgiveness to all.
— Pastor Bob
