A NOTE FROM PASTOR BOB
A Chinese proverb states, “Behind an able man there are always other able men.” This is true when you think about some of the great people in our nation who accomplished so much. Aviator Charles Lindberg had the backing of nine businessmen from St. Louis and the services of Ryan Aeronautical Company who built his plane. Daniel Boone had companions from the Transylvania Company as he blazed the Wilderness Road. Even Albert Einstein didn’t think in a vacuum.
On the Day of Pentecost the followers of Jesus were reminded we do not do life alone either. It takes a team and more importantly, it takes God through the Holy Spirit whose never ending presence gives us the strength, courage and opportunity to do great things for the Kingdom. Like the folks of history who knew they couldn’t go it alone, it's time you and I do the same. Thank you Holy Spirit for being our guide!
