Is God Lost in the midst of Busyness?

by Chris Rountree

Is God lost in the midst of our own busyness? Is it that God is there and we are just "busy"? Life in today's society is overly connected with cellphones, the internet, tv, social media, online video games, and emails. In today's world, disconnecting has to be more intentional than it ever was before. Society no longer has to deal with being "alone" or "bored" with the interconnectedness and "entertainment" that is available. Even, though society is more connected, are we just as anxious as we have always been? How do we deal with this?

It starts with the Lord! You can find multiple scriptural references about coming to the Lord with your troubles and worries. Instead, of burying yourself in the "busyness" of the world and ignoring the troubles of daily life go to the Lord with your problems in prayer, and may you find peace and rest in Him.

1 Peter 5:7Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Matthew 11:28Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
